I bought a set of these tires for my 93 Formula Firebird because they were cheap and they looked cool and the traction was great at first, but they were bald at 15000 miles. I rotated, and kept them balanced, i’ll admit the LT1 under the hood punished those tires pretty hard, but 15000 miles sucks, i got a nicer set of Firestone Firehawks that lasted 3 times that long with the same sort of driving.

We had Blizzaks on my daughter’s colt – it would go anywhere the first year, but by the second winter they had lost much of their effectiveness.
We put Graspic DS1 tires on my Pontiak TransSport and DS2 on my wife’s Mystique and daughter’s Neon. They have been excellent. I moved the DS1 set to my PT Cruiser last year (season #7) and found they were starting to loose effectiveness, so I needed to buy new tires for it this year. Daughter sold the Neon and got a new Civic – so new snows required there too. It’s Graspic DS3 all the way!!!
No snow here in Southern Ontario yet – and I’ve just been notified the new tires have come in – so I’ll be mounting them this week. Oversized 205/70/14 on the cruiser for extra ground clearance, and stock sized 15 inchers on the Civic

I loved these tires, just for summer on my VW. but one almost tore itself apart without any road object damaging it. firestone did not want to refund for the tire. and now its discontinued.
