The Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tire is designed for high performance winter driving. A major downfall to most snow tires is that while they are great in the snow, they are horrible when its dry. The Winter Sport M3 does not fall into this category.

I had 2 sets of these in the past, both on Subarus. One on my 2005 STi and one on my 99 2.5RS.

All I can say about these tires is that they are phenominal. Snow, sleet, slush, ice, or dry pavement, they hold the ground.

And I’m not just saying that because my past winter cars were AWD- I’m saying it because it’s true. When I traded in my STi, I sold the 225/45/17 tires off my STi to a friend with a Maxima and she loved them as well during the next winter season.
The following year, I had the 2.5Rs for the winter car, and again purchased the Winter M3’s. I simply have NO complaints about them.

Most snow tires SUCK in anything but the snow, but these tires were still stiff enough on the sidewall to make cleared roads still fun to drive.

I probably shouldn’t admit this on a public board, but I’ve taken them up in the Sti to about 110mph with no problems and the car still felt steady, not floating, like most snow tires make you feel at 65-75mph.

For the price, IMO, these can’t be beat. Great tire.
