The Pilot Sport Cup is a DOT-approved R-compound tire designed for track use. Without going to a full slick, the Pilot Sport Cup tire provides top-level grip and control in both wet and dry track conditions. Many SCCA and NASA racers use this tire as a rain slick along side their true slicks for dry conditions.
